Pressing: how we disrupt their build-up

FC Beispiel build with two centre-backs and two central midfielders. We steer play to one side and spring the trap on the full-back.

What matters

Spot the triggers: a pass to a centre-back or full-back, a back-pass, a poor touch, an opponent with their back to play.
Press in a curve: that keeps the pass to the other side in your cover shadow.
Whoever presses commits — half measures open exactly the spaces we wanted to close.
The defence pushes up to the halfway line — otherwise a hole opens between the units.
